@ Greetings, Dudley, welcome to Dloonn's armour and individually named meatball store!

d You know, Dudley, you're going to have to buy all those meatballs for me. I'm hungry just looking at them!

@ Hey, this +9 cloak of magic resistance looks kind-of neat, and those +8 boots of speed. Can I have them for free?

@ What makes you think I should give you those for free? They're pretty valuable, you know...

@ If you don't, I'll make you add up the bill for the meatballs again.

@ Good point. Nice doing business with you!

Dudley missed the next step: grab everything else too, and sell what you don't want to cover the price of the meatballs.

A pretty funny comic. Speaking of that, my question was "What symbol represents something edible?"

E because this works. Or so I'm told.

Though I think you could get the cloak and boots for less than 1200 zm, if the shopkeeper's silly enough to sell them.

How can you pick up more than 52 individually named meatballs? Unless we skipped the scenes where Dudley starts putting them in his sack.

#4 progo Wed, 14 Jul 2010 10:03:50
Of course you stuff them into a bag. This is a nice writeup for the technique.

You forgot one thing- not to let your pet into the store. By the time you pick all of the meatballs up, he'll have eaten half of them!

Beautifully executed, though :p

@ Anonymous: Well, this is Dogley teaching Dudley a new trick. Suffice it to say he knows what to do.

it lacks underscore to distinguish Dudley from Dloon, and Dloon position is a bit strange.
However, E.

Someone's watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs one too many times: once.

Seriously, the shopkeeper only has one customer ever. Half an hour of game time (in which Dudley starves to death) is nothing compared to the price of those magical items.

You can do this in game...

Can you STILL do this in 3.6.2 or 3.6.3 or newer?
