 Demon Summoning 101

 Major demons come in three ranks, Demons, Demon Lords, and Demon Princes.
 Minor demons cannot summon except for Summon a Pizza ever 100 turns;
 they are harmless.

 Your local Demon Lords are:
 *Juiblex (chaotic), and
  Yeenoghu (chaotic).
 
 Your obliging Demon Princes are:
 *Orcus (chaotic),
  Geryon (lawful),
  Dispater (lawful),
 *Baalzebub (lawful),
 *Asmodeus (lawful), and
  Demogorgon (chaotic).
 
 (&s marked with a '*' above will be generated on special levels every game.)

 Major demons may be generated in three ways: by random generation, which
 includes summoning spells and monsters popping into the level, by minion
 generation, which occurs around major demons on 1/13th of moves, and by
 @ sacrifice on chaotic altars, if the @ is your kind.

 Random generation will only generate Demons.  @ sacrifice will generate Demons
 or Demon Lords, so you may get Juiblex or Yeenoghu.  Minion summoning will
 generate &s depending on the rank of the summoner:
        Demons:        95% demon,        5% demon lord, 0% demon prince
        Demon Lords:   93.1% demon,    4.9% demon lord, 2% demon prince
        Demon Princes: 71.75% demon, 23.75% demon lord, 5% demon prince.
       
 Demons can summon only coaligned demons with minion summoning:
 Asmodeus may summon Geryon or Dispater, but never Orcus, so it is perfectly
 safe to let him do it.

 Since minion summoning is performed on a 1/13 chance every time a nearby major
 demon gets a move, your quickest way to get Demogorgon is to haste Orcus
 and hang around him for a long time.  Assuming you have speed boots, the
 chance per turn is (1/13) * (5/100) = 5/1300 per turn.  Chance per n turns:
     1:   0.38%
    10:   3.78%
    50:   17.5%
   100:   32.0%
   200:   53.7%
   500:   85.4%
  1000:   97.9%
 
 
  Errata: The WoY may minion-summon as a chaotically aligned demon prince on
  1/10 of pet summons, local or remote, if in Hell.  So you may get Demo 
  suddenly on a small chance if u.udemigod.
