Dylan be praised. And who said that djinni can't be female?

Dylan? Why Dylan? I thought it was some old traditional song (and most famous version might be from Simon&Garfunkel).

Nit-pick: the plural of "djinni" is "djinn".

I thought "djinni" was the plural and "djinn" was the singular.

But yeah, I was a little surprised that we went to the frozen North for this instead of just making a stop at Scarborough.

That says "djinn / djinns", and an alternate version "djinni / djinnis". Going to the Arabic version says "jinn" is a collective noun, so there is no plural.

Though I though it was "djinn / djinni" too.
