from panels two and three (listing from 0 of course) I assume Dudders is a healer? excellent subtlety there. I don't, however, get the whole emoticon/newtskin wand thing. Postponing rating until I actually get the punch line. wut

I think here is partially what is happening: Newtskin wand is making a smiley face with the newt... And on panel 4, gnomish wizard makes it laugh by telling a joke... Then... I have no idea on how to connect to gravestone on panel 5.

At first I was like :/ Then I was like :D Then I was like "DAMN YOU FOR NEEDING THE EXPLANATION DAMMIT" Joke with the gravestone is that the newt got the last hit, even though it was the dragon that bashed Dudley into an easily beaten pulp. I didn't want to extend the comic by showing the combat.

I... can't complain about this, actually. It's a newt joke, but it makes use of the fact that a newt is a yellow : instead of just picking it for the sake of meme.
