Wiz mode test reveals that shopkeeps don't have MR.

@Sorceror: Shopkeepers have good monster MR - which protects against a lot of things, such as wands of striking or sleep. They don't have player-style magic resistance - which protects against wands of death. Monsters can get player-style magic resistance: either by wearing/carrying an item that gives it, having a magic missile attack (making some monsters you wouldn't expect, such as Yeenoghu, the Oracle, and Angels, magic resistant), or by being a baby gray dragon.
