Controlled-polymorph to gargoyle, half-eat greased chickatrice corpse, controlled-polymorph back to &, QEF though of course not funny). But what's the use of greasing a chickatrice corpse in the first place? It's not like you're worried about your rubber chicken getting degraded by rust.

Of course you grease your chickatrice corpse! You grease everything. It's the ritual. It's just not right playing nethack any other way.

I didn't know there was a command to half-eat something. However, being petrified by eating a corpse reliably leaves it partly eaten.

For anyone wondering, the reason why you wish for partly eaten corpses is that they weigh less.
