So much work went into this comic...and I totally don't get it. Something about reincarnation?

It's the seven deadly sins: Gluttony, Sloth, Pride, Wrath, Lust, Greed, Envy. The last one is a little less obvious because it's a phonetic monster-glyph joke (NV = envy). A better title/alt-text for this might have been 'Se7en' after that old movie, though perhaps that'd be a bit too on-the-nose.

Yes, the seven deadly sins. The 7th panel envy is also portrayed by Dudley's envy of atheists. But the real question is if that envy is the result of or the cause of the prior 6. I left out "You die..." to leave it open to interpretation.
