A parody of one of those celebrity-chef shows, culminating in a pun about "dressing maneuver" (as in salad dressing, not putting on armor).

That's exactly right. I love making comics that rely on standard NetHack messages serving as the punchline. The footnote is a joke about the message when you get poison resistance.
