It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife / It's like starting in wizard mode, and then finding a bag of holding 3 steps to the right.

You want bitterly ironic? In one game, I stepped off the starting stairway to fight a pair of rabid rats. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to turn off auto-pickup, so I picked up a chest, got overburdened, and promptly died at the hands of the rats. Contents of chest? An amulet of life-saving.

Speaking of, the other day I started a wizmode game, wished for a bag of holding because I needed to test something with a bag of holding, opened it up, and it contained one (0:3) wand of wishing. Pfff...
