I'd say it's about time to merge the two sites. Then do a "Userfriendly", i.e. every now and then publish a random archived comic if the outbin is empty.

Did they remove Elbereth in 4.0, since the blessed scroll of hint didn't suggest something like that in the 3rd last pane?
If so, horay!
Also, can you eat vultures (and do they give much nutrition)? Then such a scroll could be quite useful when you're starving =)

canidae: The player is so bad that even Elbereth won't help! And vultures can only be attacked while levitating (otherwise they remain JUST out of reach), and always cause food poisoning.

Would The One Ring not be an artifact ring of invisible? Heh, artifact rings in 4.0... I wonder what would happen if you were to cast Stone to Flesh on it if rings of invisible were generated as something like granite.

Gravagar: Well, if you try to destroy an artifact glass thing with a force bolt or wand of striking, it doesn't work. I imagine the same would be true of stone to flesh on artifact rings.
