I simply cannot read that shade of blue. I didn't get the joke at first, but then the cursor under what must be Dudley gives it away.

Same here about that blue looking really dark. But it looks nice in the text box. I didn't know you could add color there too.

I have no idea how to control the location of the PC cursor when editing the comic. Is this in the help file yet? EDIT: Oh, OK, the cursor location is specified in the code at the bottom... Last edited: Thu, 22 Jan 2009 21:37:43

@paxed: You might want to make it brighter yet, it still looks only barely visible to me. A useful rule of thumb when working with RGB colors is the "3:6:1" rule: 100% red (#ff0000) looks about 3 times as bright, and 100% green (#00ff00) about 6 times as bright, as 100% blue (#0000ff). So if you started e.g. with a saturated red at #ff0000, a green of equal luminosity would be #007700, and for blue you'd just have to go for something like #3939ff because pure blue on an RGB monitor just doesn't get that bright. Oh, and all those are rather dark shades to use for small text on a black background, so for high-contrast reds, blues and purples you pretty much have to mix in some gray to get reasonable result.
