Weird. When reading a blessed scroll of genocide in wizard mode, then trying to genocide @ will wipe out all the things it can wipe out, but, once it gets to your role, when it gives you the "Die? [yn] (y)" if you answer "n" It will interrupt the Genociding. Last edited: Mon, 2 Feb 2015 07:33:56

That makes sense for wizard mode.

well you _can_ genocide @ when polymorphed into something else. Nethackwiki says this gives the message "You feel dead inside.", and If you quit after getting this message, but before turning back, your score list entry will state that you "quit while already on Charon's boat." Which leads me to wonder: somebody must have ascended while dead inside!
