Just a question, they have the make artifact, so why do they bet ONE zorkmid?

If you can make as many artifacts as you like, they probably aren't worth much to you.

Anyways, the point is that the Gods would put Dudley through all that for a pittance and their amusement. Can't say I'd do any different.

I seriously doubt they actually care _that_ much about that Amulet.
