Great, obscure punchline.

Some time ago, somebody figured out how to infer the seed of the random number generator and how to get guaranteed wishes from fountains and so on. It is hard, but definitely possible to be "more right" than the RNG.

@slowpoke: The obvious part of the punchline is the time inversion. The added fun is: The RNG is fully responsible for and cause of Dudley's anger management problem. Think of Nethack as a Skinner box.

The main problem with this crossover is that the characters from different comics don't interact with each other - no Tales from the Pit characters appear in DD, and the Oracle isn't a DD character, just a NetHack character.
