If the troll summons a fiery elephant, it might also be able to ignite it. But it might be too stupid to do that through the course of an entire battle. (Mega Man X reference.)

Throwing a potion of oil at a floor tile makes it behave like ice for 200 turns? That wouldn't be a bad idea for one of those potion improvement patches...
