He's hesitant to genocide anything, because he knows what it'll do to the ecology. This was very well set up.

Quint: Maybe that was the upside. I remember this game (I think it was Pogo's Tripeaks) where you could open an ancient chest and find "a delicious cupcake! (and it's still fresh!)" That one always made me feel a little guilty.

anther: ever play Earthbound? It has "presents" instead of chests and in one part of the game, you can find five or six presents in one room that each have a cookie inside. If you talk to the kid in that room, he'll tell you that he stayed up personally decorating each cookie for an upcoming party... wait, you took them all? How could you?!
