"Football" being a sport played on foot (by commoners), to distinguish it from a sport played on horseback (by nobles).

Soccer/International Football is the only game deserving of being called "football". Only the goalie is allowed to touch the ball with his hands.

@ Sorceror Still won't be complete. Sequence is infinite (in both directions, potentially). But 1,2,3,8,13 would have been an extract from it. Soccer is properly called Association Football, if you want to be like that. (FIFA = Féderation Internationale de Football Association; asSOCiation -> SOCcer.)
