I don't get it. But it reminds me of this logic joke: * Nothing is better than eternal happiness. * However, a sandwich is better than nothing. * Therefore, a sandwich is better than eternal happiness.

Being nothing is better than being a something in a roomful of monsters. But the monsters are trying to convince Dudley of the opposite, so they can kill him. Neat joke, but I don't think I can vote anonymously.
