If the joke is Dudley playing NetHack on a computer, it's a cute idea but the execution doesn't quite do it for me.

Actually, I first interpreted it to mean Dudley had dozed off and was dreaming about playing NetHack. That made it much funnier, because I've had that dream before.

You could interpret it how you like. I am a fan of David Lynch films. There it would go that Dudley goes to sleep in panel #6 and then has a dream that's covered in panels #1-5.

Maybe he's dreaming that he plays so much Nethack that he's dreaming about it, and then realises he's playing it too much and should get some sleep ALL IN HIS DREAM!

God, I dreamt beeing in real-life nethack and that was awesome... Underground places with lava streams, snakes, chests... But there was no YASD in this dream, so it probably wasn't really nethack.
