Aren't wraiths the only monster that you can safely eat without choking? Regardless, E. Simply because my favorite comic strip as a kid was Garfield. I like how you made it three panels.. which is how many panels Garfield's strip normally has anyway.

No. I once choked on a wraith corpse in VoTD (on NAO).-edit- apparently, twice. But sure I do not remember every game. By the way, is this a bug to be submitted to devteam?

The joke is that wraith corpses really do have zero nutrition, yet they're the only food that can make a housecat into a large cat. Just as paradoxically, it is possible to choke on them.

The number of panels was just a happy coincidence. I didn't even think of that until you mentioned it.

I thought it was possible I just forgot that it was, lol. Man I've ascended 10 times (4 on NAO) and I'm still learning new things about NetHack..

I was going to suggest doing Dilbert next, but Dudley already IS Dilbert.

@slowpoke: you should use openoffice ;-) not that I can help you more with this...

#7 ctaboir Fri, 7 Aug 2009 15:37:12
And E for the footnote!

#8 slowpoke Fri, 7 Aug 2009 17:26:06
Yes, the footnote brought the grade for this one up a notch.

Thanks for the excellent tech support, ctaboir. Much better than on the other Dudley site. Now, I've run into a strange compilation error while porting a legacy Python program from an Amiga into OO Fortran IV for my Blue Gene desktop system; I'm still sorting it out and will let you know the details soon.

Garfield wields a scroll! Garfield hits the giant spider. The giant spider is killed!

Careful! Bad things can happen on a Monday!

@ a human or elf (physician named Liz)
You feel very attracted to Liz.

...and we're done here. (Not just because I don't want to contemplate the aftermath of the last scene, but because I think we've now done all four types of jokes that you can find in Garfield.)

@slowpoke: hoping to get details about your current issue very soon! I will most probably be unable to help you! LOL

@Slandor: You have forgotten another type.

Click! Garfield triggers a rolling boulder trap.
The boulder hits the little dog named Odie.

And E from another Garfield fan.

PS: I've chocked on a wraith corpse on level 6... when I was going up for the elemental planes with the amulet. A real wall banger.

Wow.

This happened while I was busy.

This is awesome.

One more type: the Schrodinger's cats would all be renamed Nermal, and come in a large box that you can read. The message you can read of course, would be "To: Abu Dhabi"

Garfield hits the kitten called Nermal!

E for a reference to one of my all-time favorite comics.
