The succubus zaps a wand of polymorph. The succubus turns into a ball and chain! (later...) Read what? t The scroll of remove curse is cursed! The ball and chain seems heavier.

Actually, cursed scroll of remove curse specifically removes a ball and chain and does nothing else.
