Given the fact that a foocubus won't play with you if you're wearing armor, I'm assuming it covers those bits. But the same could be said for a shirt or cloak, I suppose.

I think canonically, Nethack players have pants or at least underpants; you can sit on a cockatrice corpse (and get the message "It's not very comfortable") without stoning yourself.

But it seems that armor does not cover all of your nether bits, because if you sit on a sink you get the message "your rump gets wet" and metal armor doesn't rust (at least it didn't on four or five tries in wizmode). So the nutcracker could perhaps reach through whatever not-very-solid stuff you've got down there. While I'm wiztesting, I've heard you can get YAFM by sitting on a hole, but I can't figure out how to stand on a hole without falling through; is that something you can evade with good Dex? Also, it seems to be possible to safely drop a cockatrice corpse even without gloves; maybe you just dump it from your pack.

Anyway, good comic, and +1 to Thvor.

Also, sometimes, when walking over a pit or hole, you should get a message "You escape the [trap]." At least, with pits. I'm not sure about holes.

Yes, it is also possible to escape holes in the same way. Infrequent, but possible.

Ah thanks; wizmode helps here, since you can get 25 dexterity and teleport back up to the hole anytime you want. And... no funny messages for sitting on a hole. Oh well.

So we can deduce that the underpants must be in kind of cottony fabric, which would let water pass, but neither contact with the cockatrice corspe. The nutcracker should be able to crack that....

YANI: sitting on 'trice corpses makes you get 100% positive outcomes from succubi. ;D
