The warning level for the whole dungeon should go up to 11.

#2 Sorceror Tue, 16 Feb 2010 01:52:10
I was thinking of making it a purple 8 or something, but warnings only go up to 5.

Win. Two nitpicks to make it hall of fame worthy: On 1st panel, two trees from the 0th panel are missing color. And I believe its "Dungeons of Doom".

STL: Good points. I had to copy-pastey the lines a few times as I fiddled with the size of the frames and the messages. I thought I had recoloured all the trees.

And yes, it should be "Dungeons" plural.

Fortunately for me, no one thinks these minor errors detract from the E rating!

Sorceror: Ironic. A purple 8, in ADoM, is the symbol for the Chaos Gate.

Watching the votes on this ... E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, C-C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!

@STL

wait... you mean you've NEVER seen sinks in the middle of the countryside???

#8 Sorceror Wed, 17 Feb 2010 02:41:42
Hehe, someone found a freshwater spring under the trees and built sinks on them in the space of 5 turns ;)

Correction:

A ring of warning should only be starting equipment for players with low intelligence.

#10 Sorceror Wed, 17 Feb 2010 06:50:38
Quint: Don't blame the player for Dudley's stupidity.

G for the comic, bumped to E for the footnote.

The footnote is certainly the punchline, yes. Thanks :)

Wouter, I appreciate you wkoring through this with me. The type of pain I feel mainly occurs when I am pulling my leg. It's not an excrutiating pain but more of a deep soreness that gets worse with use depending on how fast I am running. I definitely don't feel like I have to pull up hopping like you see sprinters do when they blow their hamstrings. If I lay off of running for about four days, it's almost gone. I rested it five days and then did the long slow five mile run Sunday and it started aching at 3.5 miles. Last night I tried to do the 100m sprints with a 20 lb. weight vest and it hurt bad at the third interval. Today it is a little sore mainly in the high hamstring area but not bad. I might could even run for a few miles if I did it slow. Speed definitely aggrevates it worse.
