I don't know if this is good or bad, it is simply off the scale.

I smiled... good. It so wrong, though.

Killed by a Nightmare! Is that Sporkhack? or, IIRC, Slash'em (due to cap "N", but there shouldn't be the "a")? and btw, still thinking about rating...

What are those light purple comestibles in the background of the first panel? Are they pills as in Slash'em, or just nightmare food/corpses?

#6 heranbago Mon, 13 Jul 2009 11:32:31
Voted E without a doubt. Purple comestibles in dream were also cool.

#7 ctaboir Mon, 13 Jul 2009 12:05:29
Corpses from 5? ;-)
Huh! I shouldn't have said that... It would have been a great idea for another (Stupid) strip...
OK, putting it E.

And btw, after deleting my 5 previous unscheduled submissions two days ago (Thanks again paxed for the delete button ! IMHO some of them were great!), and adding a new one still not scheduled... Well, I'm not sharing exactly same funbone with paxed... That's life)
Unfortunate...

The Wizard of Yendor seems to have enjoyed it more than you. --more--
You get a bad feeling about this.

Sorry I'm too tired. Not on line with NAO time... (for those who looked to my previously before editing comment). GO TO BED!

Much as the nightmare jokes are starting to get old... this one was incredible.

Glad you guys liked it.. I've been on a week's vacation and I just got back yesterday. I submitted it like a week before that however and when I left it wasn't scheduled.

Anyway the purple food is supposed to be a sweet smelling fruit and the fountains create a water sound. It was supposed to be Rodney's attempt at "Setting the mood."

However, when Dudley wakes up it's reality, hence dogley, the random objects on the floor AND a newt that I just put in there for.. no reason.

@ Slowpoke... no.. i haven't seen bruno... my comic was thought of when I read this comic: http://alt.org/nethack/dudley/?f=2009.7.9

I was just being topical. And testing whether an umlaut on the 'u' would show up on this system.

Now that you've explained the details, I was thinking the second panel might have Dudley in the same spot in the room as in the dream, and Dogley in the spot where Rodney was. THAT oughta make Dudley scream when he wakes up. :)
