Hee. That's actually a very nethack-ish thing to do. Although I can't help but get the Mission Impossible theme in my head when I see it.

It's my understanding that this is a pretty good facsimile of the SLASH'EM Neutral Quest. (I don't play SLASH'EM though.)

That's about right, although of course in the Neutral Quest, one of those little gray e's is the gaze-of-death-equipped Beholder.
