This comic is basically to complain about useless pets, who don't very often defend you while your frozen, thus leading to YASD.

@ ctaboir: Yes, but while your rushing/not paying attention you can easily get thrown offguard in the very early game.

Rushing/not paying attention is a surefire way to get killed, in any stage of the game, regardless of floating eyes. Part of becoming a better nethack player is DON'T DO THAT.

Another thing not to do is forget that it was your previous character that was wearing a ring of free action.

E, because this is what newt jokes should be. We tend to forget that newts are not actually indestructible harbingers of death and are generally pushovers. If you died to a newt, it's because you deserved to die.
